Overview

Looking for energetic, hard-working, personable individuals to work as part of our Special Events Team. The Special Events team is responsible for hosting, serving, preparing for, and cleanup of all on-site Special Events including, but not limited to, Weddings, Birthday Parties, and Festival Events. Hours are determined by the schedule of Special Events and vary from weekend to weekend. The festival is open Saturdays, Sundays, and Memorial Day Monday. 

Responsibilities

  • Set up, serve, host, and clean up all Special Events. 
  • Answer questions about Scarborough Renaissance Festival®.
  • Maintain a positive attitude throughout each festival day.
  • maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere for customers. 
  • Customer Service and Hospitality. 

Qualifications

  • Provide excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be flexible and willing to work as part of a team.
  • Be in good health and practice good hygiene and grooming.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 35 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time. 

Will be required to wear: 

  • 16th Century period appropriate attire including proper head covering. Period clothing will be available for purchase if hired.
